Mr. Pascual Condito, trough his company Primer Plano Film Group S.A., has been in the cinema industry since 1980, distributing important films with amazing reviews and box office hit. Among them can be mentioned: The Crying Game, All Dogs go to Heaven, Trainspotting, Secrets and Lies, Sostiene Pereira, The Taste of the Cherry, Brassed Off, El Train De Vie, Buena Vista Social Club, Human Rosources, La Cena, La Lengua de las Mariposas, Things you can tell just by looking at her, La Buche, Cookie´s Fortune, La Virgen de los Sicarios and Under the Sand.

 

Condito has also been successful with the distribution of Argentinean features such as Garage Olimpo, Waiting or the Messiah and Historias Minimas. During the 80´s and 90´s he also made a great work with Ico el Caballito Valiente, Petete y Trapito, All Dogs Go to Heaven and Rock and Dooddle.

In 2004 he obtained the independent success with Buena Vida Delivery, Extraño, Conversaciones con mama, Proxima Salida and No Sos Vos Soy Yo.

During 2003 Condito released two animated features: Help, I´m a Fish and Spirited Away (2002 Best Animated Feature Film of the year- Academy Awards).

Besides the distribution activity, Condito has also co-produced Argentinean films as El Viento se Llevo lo que, Conversaciones con mama and Las Mantenidas sin Sueños by Vera Fogwill which has received several awards: “First Film Feature Award of the Argentinian Film and Arts Institute (INCAA)”, “Hubert Bals Fund, Rotterdam International Film Festival” and invited to Huelva and Berlin. He is also involved in the production of Un minuto de Silencio, La Mujer Rota, and the Chilean- Argentinean feature Fuga.

From 2005 to 2006, Condito has the following production projects: Estrenando Sueños, La Confesion, Talentos Naturales, Abril and El Frasco.

Since 2002, Primer Plano Film Group has became the most important company of Argentinean films world-wide distribution and sales with a catalogue of more than 120 titles from 1990 until nowadays films. He also counts with an important Italian and French catalogue for Latin American distribution. As in 2004, Primer Plano Film Group will has its stand at 2005 Marche Du Film (Cannes).

Primer Plano Film Group 2005 line up includes between 15 and 20 Argentinean features: Whisky, Buenos Aires 100 Km, Las Mantenidas sin sueños, Monobloc, Un Minuto de Silencio, La Vida por Peron, La Demolicion and the animated film El Color de los Sentidos. Among the foreign feature releases, most of them with important international awards, will be for example En la Ciudad, Soldados de Salamina, Planta 4, Rosenstrasse, Ricordate di me, Machuca, Turtles can Fly and The Eye.
